Academics

The Caskey School of Divinity offers various levels of theological training to pastors and future pastors on the basis of their particular educational goals and educational background. The Master of Arts with an Emphasis in Pastoral Ministry is designed for students who have completed an undergraduate college degree. The Associate of Arts in Pastoral Ministry is designed for students who have earned a high school diploma or a GED but who have not completed a bachelor’s degree. Certification in Pastoral Ministry is designed for students who desire theological training but do not intend to earn credit toward a degree or who have not earned a high school diploma or its equivalent (GED).  The Master of Arts with an Emphasis in Biblical and Theological Studies is offered as a residency program for those who desire a more rigorously academic program of study which includes research in the original biblical languages, exegetical analysis, and classical theological study.
